Rexford Metz is a cinematographer with more than 60 feature film and television credits including 102 Dalmatians, U-571, Ghostbusters 2, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Charlie, and The Defiant Ones (TV).

He is best known in the film industry as an expert in "special photography" creating memorable visuals through his underwater photography in Jaws, his aerial photography in Courage Under Fire, and his visual effects photography in Total Recall and Tron. His documentary film, The Spirit of America, was nominated for an Academy Award.

Mr. Metz is a member of the America Society of Cinematographers, The Directors Guild of America, and has served as a technical advisor for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences.
